Absolutely delicious Nicaraguan food. The carne desmenusada is amazing. They carry Milca soda. Be aware, they charge 3% on top of prices if you pay with a credit card. The food was great. I recommend.

Ordered for delivery so can't comment on ambiance or service. The food was all very tasty. I only wish the Maria Elena special had more equal portions of asada and queso compared to the gallo pinto. Both types of plantains were amazing!

Came to get our daughter something to wear for her schools international day. They had a small cute selection of dresses to pick from, earrings, the ribbon to put in her hair and much more for the adults. We also ordered the cacao drink to go, nacatamales and two carne asada plates to go. Everything was fast and delicious. Service was good. Some ladies didn't speak English but one guy did so he was able to help us with everything.

I love Nicaraguan food! I'm Nicaraguan so it's always nice to go somewhere that reminds you of the food growing up. I hadn't eaten at a Nicaraguan restaurant in a long time and finally decided to try this place out. We got the Especial Maria Elena and Indio Viejo. My mom used to make indio viejo and it had been a long time since I had eaten it. The service was great. They were BUSY on a Sunday but we didn't have to wait too long. We started with chicha and cacao (so good!), and then our orders were taken. The Maria Elena dish comes with beef, pork, gallo pinto (rice/beans), salad, plantains and fried cheese (the best!!). This was all good. The pork was a little tough but still very flavorful. The gallo pinto was definitely fresh. The indio viejo was very good as well! I could see the fresh mint leaves and the porridge was so flavorful. I loved how this paired with the rice/beans. This also comes with those fixings on the side. Overall, service was great. I know it had changed a lot throughout the years but this was a great experience--it's improved! Yes, some of the portions may be a bit smaller, but I think that this has happened across many restaurants because of inflation. Breakfast prices are pretty good--I'll have to check out those dishes. Cash only!
